MUs Library and Information Science (LIS) program is dedicated to excellence in librarianship. We offer a student-centered curriculum that is designed to provide an educational experience that challenges students to develop their creativity, curiosity, and flexibility in order to prepare for positions of professional leadership and to contribute professionally and personally to the information society.
The LIS program is your path to creativity, research, and professional accomplishment. You will learn the skills necessary to navigate the rapidly changing information environment and bring together people with technology and content to meet the challenging information needs of the 21st Century.
Our goal is to prepare you to be a knowledgeable and ethical professional capable of working with a variety of audiences in a wide range of library and information service agencies.
